We are at hand should you feel the need to discuss areas to visit or to pick our brains on escaping or retiring to France, but we will always respect your privacy.

We have found that Gone Fishin is a great favourite for senior citizens, as the gîte is on one level and all our grounds are level and we are within easy reach should at any time you need help. Senior citizens love Gone Fishin holiday for the flat terraine  


When we came to live in France the idea to call our property Gone Fishin' came from the song Louis Armstrong sang with Bing Crosby as a guest on Bing's Chesterfield Show in April 1951. So, with the last verse in mind, do come and stay where a warm welcome awaits you.

Please, remember this is not a fishing holiday it's just a bonus, enjoy the ambiance picnicking, watching the fish jumping and swimming around the lake or perhaps borrow our rods and try your hand. For the keen fisherman should you bring your rods we give you access to store your gear in an outbuilding. Enjoy!
